North Carolina class frigate
the next addition to the Atlantic navy the North Carolina frigates are due to replace the aging Oaklahoma class minelayers the class is primarily designed for air-defense and anti-submarine operations the ship is very light since the hull is made of advanced composite materials which makes the ship more resistant to magnetic and acoustic mines
About this creation

i tried a new technique for the VLS effect

the bridge, radar mast, ALDS module and other various equipment

length: 312 feet
height(highest point): 72 feet
weight: 2,100 tonnes
engine: high endurance diesel electric engine
speed: 32 knots
range: 8,100 nautical miles
armament: 12 vertical launch cells,8 anti-sub depth charges,4 acoustic mines
Defenses: 1 ALDS emitter
crew: 56

The depth charges and acoustic mines.

The north Carolina class is equipped with a high endurance diesel electric engine which gives it a good operational range and a decent top speed of 32 knots.

Nice, but it needs some more weaponry. Perhaps a little 5 in. gun? Also, those are some massive depth charges...
