A change from the usual, based on the 1930s paddle steamer Whippingham/Southsea of the Southern Railway, these were built for ferrying passengers around the Isle Of Wight,Originally I made the triple exp engine for this then found it had a 2cyl diagonal steam engine so modified it to fit,you cant see much of it yet but some more work on the deck and hopefully you will be able to see it work, the original ship does not have a spiral staircase up to the second deck but had to put it somewhere after the effort i put into it.hope you like it,look forward to your comments.thanks for looking
Great work once more. The detail here is unprecendented, and the overall look is incredibly realistic. Have you ever considered making a mosquito boat from Seattle/Alaska? They look similar to this, and I think you could make them easily. Thanks again for sharing this creation.
