Neither army completely replicates any ancient army. the Red sort of are like the Persians-- Heavy cavalry, medium infantry, elephnt(s), and a lot of mercenary troops, even chariots! The Blue are more or less like the Greek armies of old-- Heavy infantry all around with supporting cavalry, limited archers (My god...I've played Rome:Total War tooo much...i'm starting to sound like the descriptions of the faction's armies.)
About this MOC: Due to poor scouting and bad logistics, the blue Greek army has gotten pinned at the bottom a large valley with their backs against a large river with no where to ford across in any direction. The only thing they can do is stand and fight the invading Persians with everything they got!( Classic Persians vs. Greeks, eh?) The Greeks our numbered, but not out armed, will stand 'till the end, last man standing, fist-teeth-nails.
I didnt mean to make this seem like the movie '300', but I couldnt resist not making it like this. its fun...and exciting and...duh the Greeks are going to win. I mean geez come on..Persians suck!. Actually i am quite fond of both cultures, especially in RTS games. Gotta love the Persian war elephants. Go Big Beasts!! Hoplites are cool too....especially Spartan Hoplites...(more RTW for ya.)
