Ruin. Time and cold have taken their toll on our cities and people. Our sleep was long and the world was cruel. The teeth of time have slowly devoured homes and lives. The frigid winds too have slowly devolved much of our former greatness.
But not all is lost. The wall of our nation still stand. Our ancestors toil was not in vain for the walls they built continue to live on.
Our future shows promise. We will rebuild what once was great. We will fortify our cities once again. We will rise up and make our ancestors proud. We live on...

Brilliant build! I would love to see some more of this! The wall technique is new to me :) Are those 1x4 wall elements connected to a frame or are they kept in place by friction?
They are actually attached to the bricks underneath and above them. each stone has one panel that is upside down, and one in the normal direction. Each of the panels is attached to a 2x2 plate (or several 1x2 when i ran out of 2x2), wich in turn is attached to a 1x2 plate. The distance between the back of the panels and the studs of the 1x2 plate is exactly one brick, and they stay in place just as well as a normal brick connection.
This is perhaps one of the most fascinating castle builds I've ever seen. The scale at which it's built is brilliant and new (at least for me). I'm still not exactly certain how you accomplished some of the textures, etc. Stunning!
