This is my second round entry to the MELO. My opponent is Jacob Nion. Our category is the Breaking of the Fellowship. I decided to build Boromir's death. That is a very common scene so I chose to make mine unique by making it in Cubedude style.
Here is my Lurtz figure. His bow is based on the one in the LegoŽ Lord of the Rings videogame. His face is also based on the official LegoŽ version except for the eyes.
Here is my Boromir Cubedude with his accessories: sword, shield, and horn.
And here is my Uruk-Hai. This is one of my favorite parts of the model.
Excellent work and very unique idea for the character designs! I like Lurtz. Your entry is so different to your opponent's, so I can barely compare them. I will vote for your opponent though, because I think his landscape and statues are breathtaking.

Admirable job at this type of building, you did a great job on the figs, but your opponent gets my vote.
GAH! This was a very hard decision! You have a great style about your builds! I saw your last entry and thought it was unique and the most original entry of the lot. This build is no exception. Your concept is great, your dudes turned out nicely (especially the Uruk-Hai) and the drawn bow gives me that "in media res" feeling. Unfortunately, your opponent, while playing with a less original concept, incorporated a lot of aesthetics into his build. He received my vote, but consider me a fan of your style!
