First I am sorry the pictures are out of order (the JAVA SCRIPT was going crazy-I did this 10 times before it downloaded)!
I went all out on this one guys! And I had fun doing it!
I cannot explain how this came to be...but slowly it took shape and it was like the set itself guided my hands! It took a month and a half to get it to the perfected state. 3 Prince of Persia sets were needed to finish it off! And I wanted as many "gold" pieces as I could find for the throne room! If you look closely see if you can spot and name what set each came from!
You will notice this is my first LIGHT BRICK set!
I wanted the glow to come from the lantern as it did in the movie! I also wanted he light to shine from within as it did in the movie!
I love his tongue (which is used to open the set) and his teeth! I used my special technique to accomplish this --- it's all up to a technic piece! I gave him the red shinny eyes he has in the movie as well and it is chock full of "gold" coins (from the Orient Bazaar Game) You can almost feel it rising from the ground! I got his face right and his paws right
even gave him a tail! I related all the events that happened in the CAVE OF WONDERS save one - the FIRE scene!
I have him meet up with the MAGIC CARPET (also updated with hands and feet) and the Genie!
I used the one I did before just to get this part of the story into MOC so I used he LEX LUTHOR TRAPS SUPERMAN cave to stand in for the CAVE OF WONDERS! But now it is its own proper set!

This is a perfect lesson on keeping an open mind when designing as well as how to improve your own design!
I think you will agree it was worth it!
Now look at the last picture, it is a LEGOŽ CUUSOO project.
I think mine is a bit better!
But once again: GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!!!
