Sitting in my office cubical one day and it occurred to me that I could totally build this out of Lego. So I did. :)
About this creation
I bought one of the Lego Minifig collections recently from series 7 and I got the little office man with a laptop and a mug (with emoticon print) and it inspired me. That is not exactly me on a day to day basis, but it was a fun idea to start with.

My reality: Not sure if this is a standard cubical for people in any office around the world, but I am sure it is close. In reality it is a basic 10 feet by 10 feet cube. ‘U’ shaped counter space with upper cabinets and a shelf. I have a few computers resting on my counter behind me. I use them as makeshift servers of a sort, and email processing. My dual screens in front of me are setup on a KVM switch so I can change between my laptop and three other computers that are resting under or behind the monitors. I have drawers under my desk and my cabinets are actually lift rather than swing open.

On my shelf I usually keep my latest Lego creation or some other knickknack, so in this case the Lego creation has a mini version of the same Lego creation on that shelf… it's creating an infinite loop… hopefully we can keep the space time continuum from collapsing. :)

It has been suggested to me that I continue this by building it out to include all the neighboring cubes as well and my managers office. Not sure I have all the pieces right now for that, but we will see.
