My 8 year old asked me to build a muscle car for drag racing, a "Pro Mod car with a big supercharger blower but no rear wing".....
About this creation
I didn't build this modeling it after an actual car, just my imagination.
I wanted the car to have a classic late 1960's early 1970's muscle car "coke bottle" shape. I used some curved slopes attached to bricks with side studs to pinch the body in behind the engine and then go full width again at the rear fenders.
The engine is a big block V8 with a supercharger and a red MSD brand distributor.
I doubled up on the rear tires (see the last picture, low angle from the rear" to get that classic drag racing "little and bigs" look.
Pro Mod class drag cars usually have a cut down roof for aerodynamics, so I have the rood slammed down as low as I could to clear the minifigure's head.
