A stylin' ride for the overseer of CS Industries and Exploration
About this creation
All those Classic Space types sure explored with vigor, but who footed the bill? Was it a utopian unified government bent on science for its own sake, as in Star Trek? Or was it a monstrous profit-mad corporation like in the Aliens franchise? Either way, whether President or CEO, Da Boss would need a ride of his own, a classy mobile office from which he could take care of business while inspecting mining, industry or exploration efforts.
So, without much more rambling, I give you the Classic Space Limo!

Da Boss with his control boards and sideboard. I mean, really, what kind of limo is it if there's not a few bottles of booze to hand.
Sharing a toast with his personal assistant.
Love this thing. Wish I'd just built this for the CS Pocket-money contest. Ah, well. Anyway, an escort fighter-bike for personal security as Da Boss surveys hazardous industrial zones and exploration sites.
Da boss is a busy guy, so he often has meetings with important personages in his limo, on the go. Many an important arrangement have been struck in this craft, and toasted for good measu--- hey!
Blacktron? What's he doing meeting with that guy? Oh, snap, here come the secret police!
Thanks everybody! It was a ton of fun working on this small scale, with no serious moving parts (I tend to get overly-ambitious with the moving parts, as in my current headache/project). I focused as well as I could on shaping and color. The contest's limits, even though I broke them, helped keep me focused on a small scale. Otherwise I may ahve taken this thing way too extreme. The bike is, I think, even cooler than the Limo, and it came together in a couple of hours. I started with some signature Classic Space bits, and toyed around with doing some funky SNOTwork with them. That resulted in the front-end, and the rest just followed. :-)
The limo a a classic Classic Space construction and look. I like how the passenger compartment totally opens up. The bike is brilliant. To me it looks heavy and chunky and very fast. The way theat you've attached the front wings is very creative, it made me look twice to work it out!
