The Tumbler (Version 2)
After looking at my V1 Tumbler and other MOCs out there decided that my Tumbler could be a little more movie accurate. Using a slot car as a reference I like to think it looks better than the last one. So here it is…
About this creation

I took all the armour off of my V1 so I could use the same basic framework for my V2 as I was happy with it (still only one seater though).

The new lower side armour was designed to go with everything else that was going to be new on the V2 model. Here is the armour sat next to the framework ready for fitting.

The rear part of the lower side armour has copied the air vents (albeit they are just 3 x 2 wing pieces) the rest of the armour has also been modified to bring that movie accurate feel about it.

I wish I could take all the credit for this model but that would be untruthful so I would like to give credit for the angled armour and wing mounts to Tiler here’s his building instructions for his Tumbler,

With the addition of the angled armour and the wings, the Tumbler is starting to fill out and look a bit more sleek.

I have had to redesign the entire opening roof to allow the shapes that are on the Tumbler to be incorporated and to help with the whole look of the Tumbler. I have also taken a page out of Legos book by creating decals to go on the windscreen to give it that aggressive look the real thing has.

As you can see the overall model has turned out nicely (shame it’s a little dusty). I think it is a vast improvement from my Version 1 model.

The roof still opens the same way as the last version, I felt that was more of a necessity than anything else, I have also tidied up the inside with the little black “cheese wedges”.

I added this one just to see what Gotham PD would see chasing after the “Black Tank” in Batman Begins.

This shot just shows how all the angled pieces go together to give the angles the Tumbler actually has.

This is one of my favourite shots of this model, it allows you to see all the angles of the model that are hard to see from the other shots.

And finally the Tumbler and the Batpod together, again I know it’s not possible but I think they should be shown together.

This is a sneaky look at what I’m currently working on the picture is a little fuzzy (on purpose) to see any detail, but it give you a rough idea of what it is.

Thanks for looking.

Please feel free to rate and comment, other MOCs are on the way, and they are not all Batman.

That is one of the best Tumblers on MOCpages! I hope it can fit two Minifigures, if it doesn't that's fine. I usual build my Tumblers so that I can make noises with them and drive them around. Great job on this!
