This is my character for the LCC Forums over at Castle Classic. LCC stands for Lands of Castle Classic and is a sort of RPG game in which you choose one of four factions and then build for your faction.
I hope I make it. :)
Faction : Garheim
Name : Sir Cedric Archer
Sir Cedric Archer is a knight of Castle Moore in the southern mountains of Garheim. Among the ranks of ranger, Sir Cedric and his loyal shieldman Sir Layton Connors travel the borders of the realm of Garheim, insuring no incursion by their rivals, the Lenfel of Lenfald Forest.
High on a cold mountain pass in the country of Garheim in the land of Roawia, three knights come upon an unexpected surprise...
Wood was a valued resource in the frigid realm of Garheim as trees were scarce, so the Lord of Castle Moore had picked three rangers from among his knights to trek south for lumber and firewood. They had been traveling through the mountains on the southern border of Garheim where the crags give way and slope down to the forest realm of Lenfald.
Sir Cedric Archer, named after his trade, had been with the knights of Castle Moore since his childhood. Orphaned by a band of outlaws when they raided his village and slew his parents, Cedric had been taken on as a squire by an old knight named Sir Daryl Cole and moved into the barracks of Castle Moore. When he had come of age at fifteen, Cedric was knighted by Lord Elson Moore and joined the ranks of the rangers.
Cedric's shieldman, Sir Layton Connors, had been at his side for the last ten years, for Cedric had saved Sir Layton from certain death when some snowpack collapsed and he was buried in an avalanche; Layton had sworn his life's honor to protect him ever after. Though well into his sixties, Sir Layton was as fit as he was in his younger days and more so than many other knights.
Byron Kenn had been taken on as a squire by Cedric when he was young, though now he neared his manhood and the wisp of a mustache shadowed his mouth. A stout lad, though oft times cowardly, Byron was nothing if not loyal, his life's dream to become a knight of the courtyard of Castle Moore. For now, he would serve to carry the wood.
They had traveled for three days south of Castle Moore until they came upon the Vale of Taylor on the border of Garheim and Lenfald where the crags gave way and sloped down to the forests below. Here stood a forest of pines, firs, spruces, and hemlocks, all evergreen, and all in plenty though navigation of the mountain sides was remained a challenge and the cold was as ever-present as always in Garheim. It was still mid-day, and the winds were biting cold, but the smell of burning pine could not be mistaken.
"Hold," Cedric said quietly.
"What is it, my Liege?"
"There is a Lenfald encampment around the bend..." he whispered. "Wait... no, it's only one knight."
"What business do the Lenfel have in the mountains?" Layton asked, signalling for young Byron to halt.
"Perhaps he is a deserter; it makes no matter. He is on Garheim land and that is fit only for the Garhim."
"Aye, my liege."
"Look at him now," Cedric laughed silently, knocking an arrow. "The poor Lenfel kindles a fire to ward off the cold but has thought nothing of gloves."
"All the worse for him, my liege," the old knight nodded, smiling. "He should have worried less about the cold and more about his safety."

Hey I'm considering joining [actually already have question thought do you have to put ur character introduction on the hompeage of the LCC? I will prob pick Gerhiem would love to quest with you
Yeah you have to join classic-castle.com first and get your account approved, then you go to the thread of the faction you'd like to join and ask if you can, then you make a character with the right colors and banner for his faction and post a link to it on the LCC Character Introduction thread. Just follow the link at the top of this build and read the intros. Hope you make it!
Thanks! Hopefully I get accepted. You should join LCC, too (Garheim, Garheim, Garheim) and pick whichever faction you like best (Garheim, Garheim, Garheim) and maybe we could quest together (Garheim, Garheim, GARHEIM!!!) lol I'm really digging building in snowy climates. Thanks again! :D
