After a long delay caused by a shipment of parts, my 'Christmas Project' is finally completed! This 2012 Sutphen SL75 quint has been assigned to Quint 20, operated by The Meadowlands Community Fire/Rescue.
MCFR was organized back in November when the City of Lego Heights met with the community of The Meadowlands, an very affluent borough within the city. After discussions, the decision was made to add another CLHFD station in the area which would be operated and staffed by the City, but supported and paid for by The Meadowlands Community Council. Station 20 now operates a quint, with plans for an engine and two ambulances in the future.
Q20's vehicle is unique within the CLHFD, as it's the first and only Sutphen to be purchased by the city, and differs greatly from the Ferrara Igniter chassis, of which the CLHFD has 9. The truck is also the first CLHFD truck to have an LED roto-ray mounted.
Stats: 2012 Sutphen SL75 with master stream, 1500gpm pump, 1000g water tank with 100g Class A foam cell, 1000' of ground hoses, 250' of ground ladders, ALS medical equipment carried on board, Code 3 LED lighting package.
