Here is the entire MOC from different views. Its dimensions are 18 x 24 studs.
The grassy island half...
And the sandy shore half.
This is Jack's (I call him Jack) little camp.
The firepit. I obviously use some minifigure and robot arms for the wood and ashes. It was hard to position the pieces how I wanted them. They are just loose on the base (a lot of stuff on this MOC is)
Looks like he caught some dinner! He probably rejoiced (because he IS trying to survive).
Here is Jack. I wonder how he got that scratched up face. It's also a good thing he brought his knife, and his lucky animal tooth charm.
I threw in some weeds in the corner along with a spider.
The two island trees.
Bet ya didn't see that snake did ya?
Some shrubbery by the trees.
Bet ya didn't see that frog did ya?
This is one of my favorite parts of this MOC. It is a piece of paper, a pencil, and an empty bottle like he is about to write a message to call for help.
Here is his food pack. Good thing he brought that! As you can see it carries an apple, a banana, and a carrot.
This part is also pretty cool. Here is his wrecked boat.
The rocks the boat crashed on came up through the bottom. Jack might have to survive a while. That doesn't look repairable.
A spear and crossbow in the boat.
His fishing pole...
...and that "red spider" is actually a crab!
Differrent views at minifig level.
I like this pose. It's like he is trying to get warm by his fire.
Very nice looking set. Quite the solid first entry. However, I have to say that if he was in a boat that small he could't be too far off from some mainland. Unless he came from a bigger ship in which case someone would probably be looking for him. Either way, nice.
