Land Surveyors
About this creation
Railroad land surveying crew with their equipment.

The rod they're using is marked in units of studs, the preferred LEGO unit of length!

They're using a total station to measure distance and height at the same time. The red dish is attached to the steering wheel base with a broken hinged bar. Don't worry, I didn't break it on purpose! It broke by accident while I was working on my forklift.

I put them to work on the train station project in my town to lay out the foundation.

Thanks for checking this one out!

A neat little build. I think that the photo over the shoulder of the minfig surveyor is excellent: nicely set up, with great use of focus/ depth of field.

Nice! It is very accurate! My dad is a surveyor, so I've seen equipment like this.
