"Upon the further side there rose to a great height a green wall encircling a green hill thronged with mallorn-trees taller than any they had yet seen in all the land. Their height could not be guessed, but they stood up in the twilight like living towers. In their many-tiered branches and amid their ever-moving leaves countless lights were gleaming, green and gold and silver." J.R.R. Tolkien (2009-04-17). The Lord of the Rings (p. 354). About this creation
(ver3 because MOCpages did not work right yesterday)
My model is way out of the proportions described in the book. Maybe, I got a bit of the flavor of a mallorn tree.
Another build "Leaving Moria" in the background.
White bridge over the fosse. (Had to look that word up) Black tiles to imply depth.
Didn't notice the "drunk elf" until the picture was uploaded. Guess he couldn't handle the tree going round and round adding leaves.
"At a great height above the ground he came to a wide talan, like the deck of a great ship."
