It was a very busy day today. There were a large amount of problems that needed solving. I am glad that I finally get so sit down and continue my story, which is what I shall do now:
At first light, we waited outside my hut, waiting for the two Vahki who stood guard to return to the mining site. At about midday, the two Vahki jumped down from the wall, and disappeared from view. We got our ladder, propped it up against the wall and followed them. Koi and Dorru were amazed; it was the first time that they had seen the outside of the square (They had seen it before Racta Major was taken over, but somehow Raznor made sure that they did not remember that time.)
We reached the site, and what we saw made us stop in our tracks. The Vahki and the Mata Droids were gathered around one of the Mata Droid commanders. He was holding a Toa Stone in the air triumphantly. We knew that there was no time for subtle sabotage, so we had to take a more direct method.
We battled the servants of Raznor for a long while. However, the droid commander slipped away with the Toa Stone. Benu and Dorru agreed to follow the commander whilst Koi and I held of the droids and Vahki.
I was not in the Command room to see the events for myself, but Benu told me that when they entered the Command room, The Mata Droid commander had already given the Toa Stone to Raznor, and he was showing it to them gleefully.
“Raznor, if you let Thanatos out of the staff, he will kill us all!” Benu warned him.
“His name is Thanatos, is it? That’s nice to know. And yes, he will destroy you, but not me!” Raznor replied.
“I won’t let you do this!” Benu declared.
“You’re too late” Raznor called gleefully. He threw his spear at Dorru, and he caught it. Raznor walked up to the staff, which was lying on the ground. He waved the stone at it, and the sphere between the blades began to glow. He placed the stone next to it. The stone began to shake, and was sucked into the glowing ball. The glowing ball began to get bigger. Dorru, in a mad gamble, pointed Raznor’s spear at the glowing ball. Flames shot from the spear, and into the ball of blue light.
There was a brilliant explosion of light and colour which bathed the four beings from head to toe. It subsided. Benu recovered very quickly, and was amazed at the results.
I do apologise, I have to go now. Somebody is knocking at my door. I will finish the story tomorrow. Oh well. No rest for the wicked, as they say.
