At first glance the CPT-D7 "Splatcat" comes of as a long range support frame. A misconception that has led to the down fall of many would be attackers. Often enemy frames will approach quickly to get out of artillery rocket range, only to realize too late, that those rocket pods are locked in on a direct fire trajectory.
Just a quick build using parts from only the new AT-RT Star Wars set (two sets), excluding the "eye" which was done in trans-orange to keep with my Ironsides colour scheme. The legs were by far the most difficult with no taps/very limited selection of parts. All in all, not the sturdiest frame, but I don't mind the end result.
