This was built for the MOCathalon; "16 or fewer parts"
Group: Clutch Builders
About this creation
This is not only a 16 part built, but also is a connectionless and mostly upside down or inside out build. The goal for us in particular was to create a large scene with 16 parts using FP rather than something like a micro build. Hope ya enjoy!
I love just staring at this one, trying to figure out how you stacked everything up to make the photo-shoot. Really got very very far away from normal lego building on this one. @ Lego Family - the blue piece is from an odd old Aquanauts set - http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/1728_Crystal_Crawler
This is NPU galore. The forced perspective is excellent, the fact we are looking at this build from the top is also fantastic. A note for your next builds, a little more time to make sure the photo is a bit clearer would have helped. You still get 5 points from me. Excellent start to a long month :) ~Thoy
Excellent concept and a nice visual. Going for forced perspective was a fantatic idea. I contend that the scene could be a bit clearer. I didn't know what I was looking at right away until I read the title. I think a different piece for the ship and a simpler landscape may have helped. 4 points.
