Just a LEGO CLUB Mining Machine contest entry gone horribly wrong. Or horribly right, depending on how you look at it.
About this creation
Front view. It's the last thing you see before it barrels right through you.
Side view. I think the orange tubes are a nice touch. And check out those mounted lasers, eh?
The engine. Originally for a mining contest (the idea was that it would just melt the rock, and the ores could be sorted in their liquid form), it didn't work out and so it became a deathmachine.
Wait for it...by the way, that's just a ton of fire pieces in there...
LIGHTS!!!!! OHHH SNAP!!!!!
The unfolding gangplank. It also serves as a shield when it's up. Also, please also note how epic this photo is :D
The drivers. The idea is that they are in a kind of isolation unit.
Figless.
The treads. These look pretty awesome, and I personally believe that you should always try for the triangular shape before submitting to the normal way.
And now for a few Easter eggs. The first is this arrow, pointing out the way should a trooper forget which way is forward :P
Second, this mysterious white container underneath. What's inside?
The driver's arms! Take another VERY close look at the photo above highlighting them - there wasn't room for them both to have two arms, so...:P
