Specifications:

  • 4 person habitation module. Can accomidate 8 persons on a rotating hot-bunk working schedule.

  • Basic shell of module can be configured for a variety of purposes: science laboratory, grow houses, manufacturing shop, etc.

  • Fully charged module is capable of sustaining a 4 person crew for 7 days. 3 days for an 8 person crew.

  • During stand alone periods module maintians full charge of the battery system and minimal air circulation and water recovery operations
  • Unit provides telemetry of system status
  • Unit provides remote control of sysem settings and opertions
  • Double-hatch airlock for access to system without depressurizing lower compartment
  • Upper deck is saftey hatch sealed from lower deck. Upper deck and lower deck can be pressurized independantly
  • Module can be plugged into heavier online power sources such as the Standalone wind turbine generator and the nuclear power pack. Use of these units provides indefinate crew sustainability for air and water.

Lower deck

  • Primary on-demand water supply source

Air pressurization system feeds up through the mid-deck plate to the center wall of the crew quarters.

Water recovery system/On-Line storage source feed through the mid-deck plate to the galley/head rooms.

In this image you can see the feed from the pressurization system to the dual-hatch airlock room.

Battery system is charged from the on unit solar panel and wind turbine, and can be plugged into the standalone wind turbine system and the nuclear power pack for long term use.
