Straight from the 1964 Walt Disney classic, the magical Mary Poppins floats high above the streets of London with her magical umbrella and bag. Here's a reference picture in case it's been a while since you've seen the film. All of the costume details are recreated as best as possible, from the talking umbrella to the cherries on Mary Poppins' hat!
"In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun, and - SNAP - the job's a game!"
Close up of the head - Although it requires the light to be caught in the right way, the trans-black cheese slops have mould marks that look quite like eyes!
Bonus evil expression, thanks to perspective tricks. Since Mary Poppins is usually flying high in the sky, she isn't angry very often.

Can't figure out how you got her to float... As long as it wasn't a photoshop trick, you get 5 points! ~Chris.
Sadly authentic Mary Poppins magic was beyond me, so I used a stand mounted to the backdrop in different positions such that it couldn't be seen from the camera angle. (I did use Photoshop for colour correction and cleaning up the background shadows, but all within the MOCathalon guidelines.)

Oh wow! That is just so amazing! You're keeping it right?
I'll be keeping it for a bit, since I have an upcoming LEGO show I want to display it at. The MOCathalon was the perfect justification for putting together some show MOCs.
