The Swiss Trans Europ Express, the RAe TEE II was one of several TEEs.
About this creation
The Trans Europ Express operated in the west Europe (France, Germany Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands and a few more) from 1957 till 1988. The trains only consist of first class cars. My train is a model of the only electric TEE, the RAe TEE II of the SBB CFF FFS. It was able to run under four different electric systems.
One train set consists of two cab cars, two coach cars, one dining car and one motor car.
The cab car:
The coach car:
The coach car is very similar to the cab car above, it just does not have a driver cab.
The motor car:
There are four different pantographs to allow the train to run in different countries.
The dining car:
There is no door on this car. There are only doors on the cab cars and on the coach cars.
Next to each door you could see where the train was going to run to. There was also the number of the car.
The whole train:
The train is about three meters (ten foots) long and is built with about 3500 bricks.
