F-28 Stealth Fighter
I took my time with this fighter jet, and I loved how it turned out. Trying to make plane in legos and call it a stealth fighter is kind of challenging, since stealth is all about whacky angles, and many small details like concealing weapons, all while blending them together. I feel I've done a good enough job with this one though for it to earn that title. This is also the first from scratch aircraft I've built in years.
About this creation
A side profile. I tried to incorpate as many unique angles into the design as possible while still making it look like a sleek fighter. This includes the canopy choice. Oh, and of course the all black color choice :)

Head on profile. This shows the angled frontal profile of the jet. You can see the air intake below the nose. Also, the plane's vulcan cannon is inside the air intake (you can see it here as well). This is to help shield it from most radar waves as its covered by the jet from every angle except head on.

Top rear view. Canopy is open, and you can also see the exhaust tubes for the engines here. The reason they are buried inside the body of the jet instead of outside (like they are in the fighter in the background) is for stealth. It would reduce infrared signature on a real jet, and the the tubes are surrounded by the stealth body of the jet.

Rear view. Tail angle easily seen.

Underbelly view with no landing gears. Notice how you cannot see the vulcan cannon in the front from this angle. The center looks different from the rest of the underbody because that is the internal weapons bay.

The weapons bay open. Its hard to see, but this weapons bay has four air to air missiles in it, stacked 2x2 on top of each other. The jet can also use these four slots to carry 4 air to ground weapons for strikes on high value targets. 2 extra weapons mounts can be installed on the wing tips if needed, but this compromises some stealth.

Group shot with the F/A 38 mk III (left and a slightly improved version of the F-24 Swing wing fighter (right I'll be getting around to making it not multi-colored sooner or later; built it a long time ago.)
