After talking with Keenen, AKA Naneek, I decided to do an extensive building study to replicate Naneek's Explorer V2 design except with my own touch to it. I did mix bley and gray, due to my lack of gray pieces (I almost completely ran out while building) which I think adds a nice "used" look to it. It's armed with three laser turrets for defending itself against light fighters and probes, is equipped with a medium range radar dish, and is also equipped with long-range antennae for contact with HQ. The ship is also designed to go on its own for several days at a time, and is therefore equipped with a somewhat Spartan living quarters for all the crew. Five people are usually required to run the ship, the captain, the co-pilot, the replacement pilot, an engineer, and the replacement engineer, all of them running on set shifts according to the ship's clock. Fitted with Pulse Generation Double Coil Engines, it can also have a maximum traveling range of anywhere from 10,000-100,000 miles traveling at up to 50 miles per five seconds. It is also installed with turning thrusters, seven throughout the ship. It also has a fair amount of red blinking lights and two frontal docking lights. And yes, I even did put lighting on the inside of the roof for the interior. Instead of windows to see where they're going, the pilots use a system of three cameras, two on the bow and one aft. Enjoy!
Nicely done. I especially like that you added all of the required living facilities like a toilet and a shower. the dresser with alarm clock was great! If you have a free moment, can you look at my ship (www.mocpages.com/moc.php/255317) and give me some constructive criticism? I tried to include all of the living facilities I could think of but after seeing yours I realized I missed some.
haha this is sooooo Cool! I really liked the way you had the cock pit computers set up and the engines at the back; how they were placed and framed by the ship! The way the angles turn into a box and then slants again is kind of strange and makes it look really elongated. Not that that's bad, but it looks strange to me... Anyways, You have a very well decorated interior, though not very private (I can understand with lego) But overall extreamly well! And you got the front! Just like the jedi star fighterish (that's where mine came from) but it looks better! Great work I'm gona look at your other stuff!
Very impressive shaping of the hull, but you could add some more slopes to improve the transition from the angled front hull to the boxy aft hull. Also, you need to add more details; the outer hull looks too plain.
