Ultimate Bond bug of MY creation with WORKING ENGINE AND GEARBOX
About this creation
This is my new Bond Bug , and so the third and last one.
You may think "there is no difference with the other Bond Bug" (this one: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/345196). You're false.
In fact, I rebuilt it totally on a longer and more practical chassis with new features:
> 2 working cylinders at the front joined to
> a 3 speed working manual gearbox (with a working gear lever between the seats)
> this all connected to the rear wheels
> working suspension at the back
> working suspension at the front with
> a working steering (with a working steering wheel)
Because of the gearbox I had to make it longer
On the bodywork, I changed some details:
> a better working canopy
> new backlights
> new bigger wheels
> a new front bodywork, that doesn't look so "fat" as on the old one
> 27 cm long
> 9 cm wide
> 11 cm high
But there is a little problem: I put the front wheel and suspension on a big cogwheel and fixed to it an endless screw (see last picture). So if you want to turn around a corner, you have to turn a hundred times the steering wheel to get the angle you want.

0h wow, you know Bond Bugs!
Interesting for me, having grown up in the bubblecar world. We've got an old Bond Mk D in the barn, though it's rather different to this much newer one. I can say that you've gotten this car pretty well represented in lego here! great job.
Your homepage doesn't lie, this is about the weirdest most obscure car I have ever seen! Great job on all the working parts, I'd be happy to just get working steering in one of mine. Seams you are very good with System and Technic, not a common combination, but you can really do some great stuff mixing the two. Great job!
