Cruisers are medium - sized ships used mainly for offensive purposes. This particular is also prototype, but is still used in major ways. It excels in close fights due its firepower combined with linear hull design which enables ship to approach enemy by front leaving all hull hidden behind massive , four cockpit "head" . Tentacles are frequently used to catch smaller enemy flyers or to make two larger enemy ships collide. Most of enemies dont expect this "primitive" , but deadly mechanical battle approach. Every tentacle array rewuires one pilot to control them , pilot seat is hidden in each section behind the wings.
About this creation
Morph note - size of wings : Whole structure of ship is adapted to most common way of encountering enemies - to ride straight to them. Every wing array is smaller than array before them , what enable to hide more gracile structures behind stronger ones.
Tech note - head structure and joint structure : "Head" is done with simple trick - you make two identical halves (here upper and lower one) and equip their bottom plates here white) with bricks that has studs on their lateral side. Turn them against each other and attach lateral cockpits to join them.
Wing array is done with somewhat more complicated technique - wings founding is simple plate attached to wall of pilot cabin with same bricks with lateral studs (here black area).Wings in sagittal plane are attached to basic plate and then equipped with third layer of plates without studs (white stripes on each wing): This makes wings thick enough to be compressed with horizontal beams (transparent green)to ship hull. Horizontal beams arise from both ceiling and floor of cruiser , and they are also compressed with vertical beams to compress all layers of ship. Horizontal Wings have simple skeleton inside and are attached to ceiling and floor.
Morph note - inner structure of ship - all three cabins for "tentacle pilots" are situated among wings , trans blue semi-arches segments contain weapon store
Tech note - energy floor : It is similiar to those on Siaron 1.1.
Head detail - being locked in bottom cockpit is kind of punishment for soldiers that are not obedient to rules. In atmospheric fight they are tied to ceiling with head down and therefore suffer from serious vertigo and nausea due to ship movements.
