Simple design of this ship can be deceiving. Illirin has solved main problem of 1st generation ships - randomly looking design, inability to effective usage of beams and no segmentation of trunk. Ship is built form smaller sub - units - containers which can be crystalized from metals by Atritian magic. "Theia" is direct progenitor of II.generation ships. Similiary to smaller Nenya, mothership has its drones, this time used to repair allied ship especially during battle. Ships main cannons in "head" sections are used to snipe enemy motherships in one volley. Escape pods also helps crew of burning ally ships to evacuate. If enemy surrenders , pods capture its crew as prisoner and pods fly directly to prison ship.
About this creation
Morph note - 3 etages - First feature of future II.generation motherships - 1st etages is here empty , but in alter ships serves two purposes - to hold hull together , to bloc store crystal cores for energy store l and to hold hover engines. It uses to be closed. 2nd etage is main, it houses most valuable part of ships - either living or phantom crew and most of computer array. There are usually some ceiling windows or hinged doors to enable enter this etage. 3rd etage is not continual , but holds most of cannons and engines, because is most visible section. Also putting most details on top make ship look more magnificent.
1st etage - most primitive , but already segmented (mere CTRL+C used), beam holders atop and below hulls floor
2nd etage - corridor with lateral extensions for chip crew , each with two seats with levers, monitors and computers. Between sub-units of ships are holes in floor for access of 1st etage. Unfortunately i wasnt able to elongate beams enough to connect even 1st and 3rd floor together , since that is second floor quite vulnerable.
3rd etage - Here are foundings of both escape pods and drone holders. Drone holders are attached by combination of lateral-stud bricks and simple holding with non-stud bricks similiar to thode on Nenya 1.1. Cruiser.
Ceiling - Slope wall elements are used here, I ceased to use them because they were reducing space behind them very much. Transparent ones were used as windows to see the crew.
Front detail - I love multiple cockpits
Head detail - Head is built similiar to that on Apries 1.1. Class cruiser , here are three couples of lateral cockpit , main cannons are hidden among them.
Lower wing detail - wings are multi - layered, layer joint is compressed by wings , I also found convenient to place cannons on joints to make it looking better. Also , shortening of wings that progresses from front to back is enhanced by looming form top , opposite wing arrangement makes wing looks all the same and boring.
Upper wing detail - cannons are places alternatively on other sides of wing, making it look like crooked black line on vipers back.
