So aside from the title saying new, this rig is new "used". Engine 1811 is a 1988 Seagrave JR pumper. This unit was bought from the Tampa Florida Fire Department where it formally served as a spare engine. The engine was painted yellow, from its former red color scheme.
Engine 1811 has all hinged compartments, with side mounted ladder storage (24FT ext., 14FT roof, 10FT closet) and side mounted hard suction hose. There is a canvas hose cover to protect the hose from outdoor elements, and a deck gun. There is a rear mounted arrowstick that was added after purchase by Blackbrick Creek members. The engine features open rear jump seats, all rotating warning lights on the cab, and rear as well as strobe flashers on the rest of the unit. There is a Detroit Diesel Engine, and an Allison automatic transmission. The dog hose features a locomotive been and compartments below. There are Grover air horns on the roof, and a Federal Q2B siren on the front bumper. Engine 1811 has a 1500 GPM pump and a 500 gallon water tank.
