This is not my original design, it was posted online and I tried to do reproduce it the best I could, if it is your original design then you get the credit.
The story so far:
Here is what I am calling European SUV. One of the modifications from the original is the standard Lego roof piece. I had to use different parts from the original to get it to look like this. In LDD it looks sturdy but in actual building I am not sure because of the use of the rear passenger doors. The rear roof is sort of floating over the rear doors of the SUV, not many parts actually holding it together. I braced it the best I could but in LDD there is no way to know how much stress is put on the other parts when you try to open the rear hatch until it is done in real brick. If it was not made to open then the real brick build would work just fine but if it is made to open, the hinge parts do not allow for a lot of support on the rear windows. In the last pictures I tried two different hinges. The hinge that makes the rear hatch easy to open cannot have the small 1x1 plates (red circles) or it will not open. The other hinge is stiffer so you have to hold the whole vehicle just right or the large part of the hinge will come off, there is not much area that actually "connects" (blue circle) to the brace pieces. There are some other hinge options but I have not tried all of them yet. Also have not tried to use tiles instead of plates on the roof.
I will be trying this in real brick soon and we will see what happens.
