This was a quick one, I've built during the surprisingly cold month of May. It was cold and rainy and I thought: "Dang, this feels like November, hmm, ahhh - NoVVember! So I started building and somehow the Vic Viper turned into a little frigate. Oh, well! Hope you like it!
About this creation

Always wanted to use these slopes and curved panels for a shipīs hull. But it never looked really good, except on a catamaran-/Vic Viper-style one!
Oh, the catamaran design allws the ship to even land in pretty low waters! This is the first seaborne Am-Space ship.

For increased efficency during atmospheric flight the three engines have limited turbofan capabilities, sharing two intakes on each side of the main hull, behind the linear mounted railguns.
The air stream can be directed to each single engine independently, or to just two of them, or all three at once.
Mostly, during atmospheric flight, only the lower two are used for jet propulsion, the upper one is used as an APU then.
However, when landed on the water only the upper engine is used for propulsion and the air stream from both intakes directed to it. The others are shut down to prevent possible damage from sea water!

All weapon systems are visible, here:
1. the two linear railguns
2. the four mid-range missile launchers
3. the rear mounted short-range missile launcher, as protection form pursuant fighters
4. four antennas for communication, observation and electronic warfare purposes
and
5. the experimental multi purpose gravity projector, built into the shipīs mandibles,
allowing the ship to "shoot" everything that fits between them.
This even allows silent propulsion without any heat emmission. Not too fast,
otherwise the emitters would heat up to a dectectable level!

Patrolling the Washington D.C. air space. A good view at the gravity projector.

The hyperdrive in action. Reverse engineered and improved from a Draggone hyperdrive crown. The size could be decreased significantly, by turning it into an artificial crystaline structure. (Details are top secret!)

Quite a narrow Target, from the front and side!
Hope you didnīt get too tired while reading, if you read it. if not, I hope you liked the pics!
God bless Am-Space, and long live GAIA!
~Cheers

Excellent work! I don't usually comment on LDD mocs, but I was taking a look at your page and most of them look like a lego set. The build, the background, and everything looks like it should be slapped on a box and sold. :)
Well, that was unexpected. Honestly, the only digital MOCs here are some WIPs. All the other creations are REAL, brick built models. I only added light effects and backgrounds to let them come alive. Well, anyways, THANK YOU! |

ooooouh, do you intent on building that cruiser with bricks? what a piece!
Yeah, I guess. *starts sweating* It will be a seriously huge investment in parts. Hopefully the will be some money left for food... ;-) |

I don't know how I missed commenting on this, but great work! Are these, by any chance, leftovers from that excellent USS Excelsior?
Thanks! I donīt know exactly, but since I acquired most of my white parts as I built the Excelsior, it may well be possible! |

A great ship and when you're done blasting away those pesky Dragonne, you can take her to the yacht club to meet Muffy and Buffy for tea and crumpets!
I always ask them, if they'd like to see the barrel of my railgun! ;-) Thanks, for the comment, my friend! |
