After a short dark age, The Munch has returned to the LEGO table and has graced me, (therefore all of us), with four new MOCs. She spent a lot of time on these, actually experimenting with techniques she hadn’t tried before. She was even playing with some cross axles, though she wasn’t satisfied enough with the outcome of those works to keep them intact.
Relax, everyone. I didn’t tell her that they were failures.
I think the big challenge for her was trying to build with the limited resources left considering that the main bulk of my most useful pieces are bound up in my latest project. I think the big challenge for me is going to be trying to get her to let me have my pieces back. We’ve been there once before. No fun for either of us.
That being said, please enjoy these four robots from the mind of my six-year-old daughter, who I lovingly refer to as The Munch. If you find these as enjoyable as I do, please leave a comment. She got such a big kick out of getting so many wonderful comments from her previous submission.
According to The Munch, you see this one's brains. Ah, the imagination of a child.
What really stood out to me on these is that there are some features in these that remind me a bit of Daleks, and that she was intending to build robots and came up with some pretty convincing MOCs. Thanks for checking it out.
Excellent Creations! The mind of the artist in all of us. Keep up the good work with these robots and yes the last creation reminded me of the Daleks as well. Look forward to your next few builds munch:-) also it might be hard to get those parts back... Until next time.
Fascinating robot concepts, very unorthodox designs. Do we have a George Lucas in the making here? ;) Love the use of translucent pieces, looks like a bustling array of lights blinking on and off while conveying each robot's thoughts.
