Antioch, whose Matoran history was unknown to most lived as a Toa that was originally part of a Nature Community (the BIONICLE equivalent to a Native Reserve). Matoran was not even his first language - the tribe (which consisted of only the Bo Species) spoke in an ancient language known as "Borrhe." However, Hero Duty called for him, and so the Clan Leader (the Community's Turaga) released him. Soon, he found himself in a Toa team. Most Toa would consider him savage - not his team. They thought of him as quick, cunning, and a good friend, of a little different.
"Little" was putting it delicately. He was very different to other Toa. He hated killing wild Rahi unless for food (which made him specifically dislike the Onu-Matoran and their Archive duties), he had no Protodermis armor aside from his mask (he tended to use the Rahi Bone scraps from his meals to armor him, if you can call it that; I mean, he doiesn't even have chest armor!), and, he reacted to a villain in Animal Instinct - his long arms made him occasionally swing from vines or run on all fours. Even his body was odd - certain parts of him (including the tip of his staff) would faintly glow, something that has never happened on a Toa before. It is unknown how Antioch got these glows, but there is no doubt that the glow can produce traumatizing effects (from the staff, at least). But, put all that aside, many thought him a true hero - he even has the red marks on his body to prove it.
FOURTH WALL COMMENTARY
So, yeah. Here's my entry to the 2013 BIO Cup. I'm sure all your questions will be answered in they story, so read that first, 'kay? :)
I have to say...aside from the feet, I think iI did a bad job on this guy. I was originally not even planning on entering the Cup, but I just decided to throw somehting together. I...just don't like him. He isn't good. I don't think I'll make it past the Elimnatories, but hey, a guy can try, can't he? :D
Oh, and here's the height limit proof (sorry about the sideways photo and bad quality :/)
Anyways, don't forget to rate and comment, and goodbye.
Hmm, good color scheme choice, but could use some better color distribution. Also, some filling up on the (weird) upper arms and that torso. It may be an intersting idea to leave the structure exposed like that, but didn't work so well in here. 5 points.
I actually liked the blended white/lime palate, but the open pectoral area bothered me visually. Carry over the armoring you've done on the back a little, and it should sew up nicely. Nice articulation shown, but needs a little filling along the limbs. Not bad. 5 points from me, and Cheers~
That lightweight technic torso is very interesting, but it really needed some bulking up. The colors work, but I'm not really a fan of those white connectors used as biceps. What's weird is that all said, it kinda works, but don't ask me how... 6 points.
