So this is my new apartment-studio,
aside from the locker and bathroom, this is the whole of it...
as I m standing in the doorframe of the entrance,
it s as big as a living room,
the red thing on the top of the shelves is my sleeping bag,
I pretty much live a la Japanese, it s on the floor that I sleep,
as hard as it may look, it s good for my back,
so I don t hurt it as much, my job demands a strong back, so it fits it perfectly.
you can see all of Cybercity from here, but, lets see this closer shall we?
this is my work table, mainly the lab,
the drawer system has been improved to fit 90% of what s left of my collection,
pretty promising for the secondary scenes of my stories,
I mostly drink iced tea, or coffee as you can see now,
I remove the drawers I need to work, it s very efficient.
the 10% left is mostly technics, and nxt stuff,
it is stored in the locker, as I don t use it much right now.
this is most of Cybercity, you may recognize a few buildings from here,
also my synthesizer to make music for the movies.
also, my blue lego storage bins, wich holds my basic 2 wide bricks.
here, you can see my now useless pc tower, and current laptop wich
I use to post right now, the black box on the floor stores figs,
my clothes are in the corner door, the lower part stores my cam, and lighting equipment, and the desk under the pcs stores books and cds.
up the shelves, are my plates that have shapes encased, mostly from castles,
the pantry holds my dry food, and there is the fridge and stove.
as I buy most of my food at Costco [my job] I also have a secondary fridge.
all that's left of my movies are here as well.
you can see the hotel, and bank are finished, they are now highier,
I m 3 buildings short of finished with Cybercity now.
the green casings hold my regular baseplates of all colors,
the pink boxes hold my basic trees,
the rest of buckets hold specialised parts like panels classed by colors,
and a few future projects parts.
here are the new houses, for a total of 24! you will note that they have address numbers,
to my knowledge, I m 1 rst to do this detail on a city,
I bought 2 lego exclusive calenders to achieve it,
Cybercity now consists of a total of 45 structures in whole.
I have refined and polished the hospital, and the service garage
is simply unrecognizable, I remodeled it completely, it now has a repair level [orange]
red is a car dealer, and light blue is the tunning shop,
the elevator can lift semi tractors up to the roof,
wich is used as a small parking space.
this pic is mainly to show the new remodeled centers wich are now completely
buisnesses, I removed the apartments that where on the 2nd floor to make them
this is the structure I m currently working on, can you guess what it is?
it s the new park! the first level is a natural park, but, it will have a concert
stage, cinema, and fashion catwalk for models to parade,
I d also like to insert a real screen in the back, but, perhaps not right away,
it will have as much seats that I can squeeze in it.
this is the promised vertical farm!
it s not finished inside, and misses half the animals,
but, the elevator is working to carry the cows and farmers up to the roof,
the doors allow for the grain semi to take it s load inside.
I tested the train to make sure it had clearance to pass by.
this is the new bridge, it misses 2 blue baseplates that will complete the beach as well.
underneath it, is the construction terrain for the team,
note that of all Cybercity, it s the only emplacement I m still not sure how I will
manage and build, I m thinking about a cement factory, but, it s still in the air,
PAUL BEACH had the contract, but, I think he was discouraged of the challenge,
becauseof the tracks passing trough, it s hard indeed!
note that the construction team is supposed to rebuild and repair Cybercity
and neighbour cities around sector 14.
a closer look at the said baseplates and buckets.
in the locker are all of the hundreds of trucks, and over a hundred cars,
some factions vehicles are here as well. [gf, pirates, globo police, ect]
it looks good for the coming episodes, even Meedass s chariots are still in this locker.
as a collection it s enormous, as a movie studio, it s ok.
remember that it takes a lot to make something that will not be repetitive,
and I can t build all each time...
thanks for your support, and be sure that I ll work as hard
for the scripts, as I did for the scenes!
Your setup reminds me of what I have in my shop, almost a twin, about 100 Sterilite drawers assorting the elements into color groups and different element groups. I put my builds on stainless steel food service metal racks, that way I can adjust the height of the shelves to accommodate creations of similar heights on the same shelf.
Took a while before I could look at this. Yes, I'd be fine with you selling Retro Motors vehicles in your dealership. The Garage looks good, little futuristic for my tastes, but it fits with the rest of your city. Haven't ordered the parts for it yet, but I plan to make my dealership retro stile. In fact I'm not sure where I am getting the design as I've never seen a dealer like it.

you see, money is nt all...it needs lots of patience too, I worked on this day and night for 4 years, no girl, no family, and few friends, lots of sacrifices....but, I guess it shows now.
A great 'instant backdrop' :-) I was planning on something similar (Though just a white, well lit corner) once i move from where i am now. Hehe the elite, that's what i thought :-D I'll leave a comment there with what i was thinking soon then.
Mmm bummer about the wood piece but it sounds good that you still might have enough space to set up the city if needed. Great idea with that wall though, i am guessing your choice of colour will be 'sky blue' then? :-) About my own lab.. Well, i am a bit private about how i live but i might be able to show you how i have arrranged my collection and lab one day through MOCpages? We could agree on something without prying eyes through the ninja challenge-group. If i remember correctly, we are the only two members there :-)
Quoting Tris B
lol, it s a certainty, they said that, you took all the space available with your city, but, they promised that, once you manage it as organized as mine, they ll tear down some walls to allow both to connect, so, you should hurry! and we ll be neighbors! lol.
Quoting Master Shifu Leo J
thanks shifu! but, I m really about movies, although I only have 1 posted, 2 are on my pcs, it s just that they don t have musical scores, another discipline I need to cultivate to make it happen, but, modeling with lego is cool too, I m still trying to find my own style though, I feel I m getting there finally.
Quoting Builder Allan
thanks Allan! I think it s possible, except, I have this wood piece encased in the floor, it might make a visible bump in the layout, but, I m sure I can lay it in 2 shoots 1 half a shot. what s eally cool is this very long wall that I ll paint blue, it will allow for large perspective shots.
Awesome, a great little dedicated lego-studio! Good to see most of your collection survived your troubles and the move. I very much like your different houses - the hotel, hospital, bank and those row houses. It's a great idea to give all the houses numbers, i agree you may very well be the first to do that. Your new projects look interesting too, i will be looking forward to seeing the hi-rise farm and that park finished. It's too bad you don't have enough space to really fold out your full collection, but i really hope things are clearing up for you now that you at least have a place of your own my friend :-)
Thanks for the great tour! The work is fantastic, and it's always a treat to see builder's dedicated work spaces. You've really made the most of your space!
I like it

Fantastic, this is the best Lego room i ever see.

great to see such organisation ! I dont have many bricks left to file away after my rather large lego castle creation, anyway, well done for the lego Cyber den, always interesting to see the inside of mission control !>.....
Now, on topic. :) I simply ADORE the numbered houses! They kind of look like NYC Brownstones in a way, and now that I look closer, some even look like less dilapidated Baltimore row houses. (Ah, home.) I like the cars with the sunroofs, too. I'm glad nothing got damaged during the move. I've never had to move my collection, but from what I've heard, it's really stressful.
A job at Costco requires you to sleep on the floor 100% of the time? My whole family has bad back problems, so that's a big no-no to me. I'd take the job of multibillionare CEO of a multinational conglomerate any day. Anyway, nice collection. One question: Where will Cybercity be completely assembled?
