Well, its been a while. This is my most recent set of mocs based off the AEGAKS theme by RB. A classic chase scene between a cop and a runaway criminal. Enjoy...
About this creation
Presenting the AEGAKS 328 VRL Viper and the AEGAKS 811 VRL Enforcer.
These two civilian racing frame mechs are involved in the race of their lives. After escaping from a high security prison, a convict has hijacked one of the fastest and powerful machines available for civilian use. He has already armed himself with a stolen standard issue cannon pistol, and is now a serious threat. It is up to the Enforcer to put a stop to this goose chase. Will he be successful? You decide.
The Viper does not have advanced combat systems, which are illegal in civilian vehicles, but it surpasses any other AEGAKS in one regard; speed. The Viper has a top speed of 350 mph without the use of the axillary booster, which adds an extra 50 mph. This makes it the fastest model available to the public.
The Enforcer is the standard AEGAKS used by law enforcement nationwide. However, due to their 2 billion dollar price tag, only major cities can afford them. The squad car is still used for the majority of civil duties, which leaves the mechs with AEGAKS related incidents and extremely dangerous missions.
The Enforcer is equipped with everything the modern police officer needs, from EMP cannons for disabling vehicles, tear gas grenades for crowd control, machine cannons for well, you know… and the primary weapons, two razor sharp energy blades, which are used for disabling mechs, breaking down obstacles, and if needed, melee combat. The Enforcer employs powerful military grade boosters which put its speed capabilities above the standard AEGAKS. Its official top speed is classified.
"You'll never catch me, coppers!!!!"
"Never underestimate the law, criminal!!!"
Heres a size comparison with a standard car. Apparently, the suspect has been causing mutiple car accidents throughout this chase.
The wheels turned out great, especially on the Enforcer, which has front fenders.
I have been experimenting with heads, and found this one to fit well. The Viper doesn't have a head because well, you guessed it... it's illegal to have military tech on a civilian mech, unless you're the police.
Enforcer has stabilizers on each arm for decreased wind resistance and directing the arm mounted thrusters.
Pic of the pilot blocks.
"Get on the ground!!!"
4th Wall - Well, I really love these two. They may not be able to stand on their own, but they look great, at least to me. Inspiration mostly from Sideswipe from Transformers 2. I wanted the same roller skate like mobility, and I think I got it down. Thanks for looking, and hope to post more soon. See Ya Later!
