Part of the Dawn Forge theme the Meridian is a small one man battle platform. Fast and agile, but with substantial armament for it’s size it is suitable for deployment in a variety of combat situations.
I built this one for a hardsuit contest on Flicker. Kind of “Mech-ish” looking for a hardsuit, but really what is a hardsuit other than a small one man mech.
As always thanks for looking.
About this creation
Dual barrel 55mm heavy machine gun, 350 rpm. - slow but large caliber.
One 5 tube 80mm rocket pack.
One flame thrower (on the nose) – lack of the venerable 6mm gatling gun makes this the primary anti-personnel weapon.
My wife and daughter’s say it looks like a grasshopper. A vicious death-dealing grasshopper though, mind you
This is the first time I’ve gone with the big whip antenna look. I figured my other mechs were tall enough not to need them.
This is a pretty crummy shot but I wanted to show a fig inside it. Not much room for controls unfortunately…
Bob: “Like I just told your friend, your… in … MILWAUKEE!”
Bob: “Lotsa guns but no map huh?”
Bob: “*Sigh* forget it. Look, just go south a couple hundred miles, then point that contraption due East and keep walking.”
Check the Bob from Accounting pic from my Schism Class mech for this caption to make sense.

Hey! Burger King gets MOTD! I've seen this before and loved every studless inch (and no, I am not talking about Chris Phipson). I think what MOTD really means is that you get a lot of e-mails from MOCpages that day!
Let's see . . . how many of Brian's MOCs have not been featured on the big old home page . . . I think I'll save that measly calculation for another day. I'm lovin' it, sir. You deserve a cheese dog for another success. ~Nick
i know you get this a lot but i would really love instructions for this amazing creation. ive been trying to make this for about a week, but i just cant get the torso right. you probably wont consider it much, but i'd really appriciate it. im sad to say that i havent seen anything new from you at all, but if you have the time, it would be greatly appriciated.
*i just read you page reguarding instructions...sorry for being such an idiot!
this is really nice, good design, a little bit smal BUT with good details, would you be so kind to send me the isntructions to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have time and if you have them. Good luck on your next creation.
Ok brian this is what im talkin about i like smaaler more mobile mechs this one seems like it would be walking in some small village blowing up small infantrymen or something,oh and could you put up the long winded dawn forge backstory please i really want to try my hand at dawn forge!
Awesome, as always. I was quite suprised when I opened up one of the images and saw how small this mech really was. At first glance I thought it was probably huge! An illusion of such an entirely studless and creative design. You continue to inspire me. Keep building!
Brian, once again you inspire me to spend countless hours locked in a room with billions of legos trying to create something as amazing and wonderfull as your intelegently designed creations. Well done. I was wondering when you were going to tackle a new mech. And one other thing, you should try your hands at a Brute Chopper, could be interesting. Since there's only one (i think) out there. Keep it up!
I've always been drawn to your mechs; in fact, your previous mechs inspired me to want to make a mech that's big enough to eat most other mechs for breakfast. But with this small design I'm now ok with going smaller. Great work as always!
Love the studless design and the chicken-walker legs. I can never get the legs on my walkers to turn out that well... The studs-diagonal orientation really worked for this mech, and the color scheme is excellent as well. Is that "2" over the hatch a custom decal or did it come from some other LEGO set?
Well done as usual; you've left me crying again. And not a stud in sight as always. Did you have a bad experience with studs when you were young? Actually, the leg design makes it look like it could do a mean Moonwalk on the dancefloor...
