Umbaran MHC
**Note: Not all pictures feature the cockpit design because the cockpit was created after this page was made. Just know that the new and improved cockpit design is part of the current model.** The Umbaran MHC is an advanced piece of weaponry used by the native Umbarans during the Republic's campaign to conquer the shadowy world of Umbara. The Umbaran MHC, or Mobile Heavy Cannon, is unstoppable to practically every ground force including rocket launchers, due to its heavy armor. Supported by six powerful legs that can be used to crush incoming infantry, it also has a powerful electromagnetic plasma cannon above its domed shaped head that can vaporize the enemy. This model consists of 3683 pieces, and is a sturdy build. Each leg is attached to a strong ring that forms the base of the domed shaped head by technic pins and technic bricks (the ones with holes in them). The dome is created with curved plates lying on top of a curved brick structure made with sloping bricks. A minifigure could be placed inside of the eye as well. All of the legs and the main cannon are movable, and the guns and lights below the eye can rotate up and down. When I saw this monstrous vehicle on the Star Wars the Clone Wars TV show, I know I had to make it. However when I saw the Lego Group's Umbaran MHC set, it just wasn't showcasing the vehicle's massive power and fear that it instilled in it's enemies. So I decided to go out and create a UCS model for this set. The huge cannon on the top, claws on the legs, and giant eye all give this model the "gigantic and imposing" presence that I felt it had while watching the TV show. I know, and it's unfortunate that I just don't have the money to build many of my creations, especially with college bills right around the corner. Someday though, I will build my creations not just for supporters, but for the love of Lego.

Quoting Pieter Vanden Meersschaut Very nice UCS version. I don't really like the original set but I would buy the UCS version ;)
Thank you so much! And if you do want this to be considered to become a Lego set, please support it here: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/45243

Nice build! I don't think anyone's MOCed this before. But the smoothness of the legs doesn't match the studs on the body, I'd tile them over.
