We soon found ourselves in the thick of a battle. The scoundrels were waiting for us!
I had locked swords with a pirate captain. He was a good swordsman, but I was gaining the upper hand.
Then I looked over in horror. My closest companion had been skewered through the middle. NOOOOOOO!!! I turned to the pirate and snarled, "You'll die for this, pirate scum."
Then a cloaked man showed upon the castle wall.
He leaped, taking down the pirate. They rolled around, brawling and hurling insults at each other.
The man in black (Lol) finally saw his chance, seizing the pirate's sword, and driving it through several important intestines. He told me to stand down, along with my men. I complied to his request. ( Next pics are of the inside battle)
A pirate and an orc battle. "Die Yar bucket of lard!" "Not today."
"GRAH" The orc ran him through.
A Mythronian assassin earns his wages.
A pirate takes down a lesser orc, and knocking him over the edge. "Take that, traitor!"
The citizens decide to fight back against the orcs, in hope of escaping. One tackles the slave master, another orc tripping over the fallen one.
Another orc falls, but the fallen one gets up...
And is promptly beat down by an elderly gentleman.
The survivors fle from the city, along with a drunken Mythronian.
The pirate takes his leave, mowing down anyone in his way.
"We work for Rainos, or, as you may know us, the barbarians. We watched your fighting today, quite impressive."
"What are you getting at?'
"Ah, a straightforward man. I like that. I think you may owe us something for saving your lives."
"Like I said, get to the point."
"Fine, fine, we want you to join Rainos, where we see you obviously belong"
"I will join, but only if my men are allowed to leave. They will make their own choices, without my influence."
