This is my entry into the fourth round of the 2013 Bio-Cup. The theme was to titan-ize your BioCup character. I decided to put a spin on the concept and make it a dual Bioformer/titan hybrid. This MOC was heavily inspired by the modern Transformers movies and as you can see it was closely modeled after them. Well, what are you waiting for? Scroll down below and enjoy the MOC!
Interesting. The car looks great, and its veyr nice that you added this twist to your entry, I don't see why we shouldn't count that. I love when people go out of the box. The robot form, however, definetly could use work, as it looks messy and with odd proportions. I know its hard to pull out two forms equally good (i tried), but since you risked to take such a step (and the contest focuses on the character itself raher than its functions), I think you should have payed extra attention to the humanoid form. Still, deserves a good 8, at least for the creativity.
I've got to agree with the other judges! The main problem here is that you didn't make a Titan Aukume who could transform into something, but rather a car that could transform in a titan with the head of Aukume, which is the only trait that remains from your original moc. As a bioformer this is absolutely fantastic, no doubt! But as an entry for this round, this is certainly lacking. Still you did a great job and had a great campaign once again in this competition! Well done!
There is a general consensus, though I won't have them sway my decision. The transformation was a rather crafty gimmick, and it works well. The robot form leaves some areas to be desired, no doubt a compromise done for the transformation. Whilst the colour scheme matches, the only detail that helps me relate to the original MOC is the head. You get a 7. Still an awesome MOC though, and I love Transformer MOCs ^_^
Little torn here: I find myself in the position of Judging an entry's trait that we didn't ask for... but I still Like. Limiting myself to Judging this based on a Titan - I like the upper torso's technic applications (don't get me wrong, Mechanically, this build's a marvelous feat) and the scale, plus good gun accessories. Some limbs seem a bit unfinished, likely due to the needs imposed by your Transforming mechanic, no doubt. As a CAR (which I cannot Judge, alas), it's amazing. I'm left a bit confused, approach-wise, but still acknowledge the MOC's quality. Assigning 7 points, for the BioCup. And 5 stars, as MOCist. Cheers!~
