Prometheus loved man more then the Olympians, he sneak up to Mount Olympus, lit a torch from the sun, and hid a burning piece of charcoal in a hollow stalk. He slipped away with it and thus delivered fire to mankind.
Zeus was very angry and ordered that Prometheus be chained to the side of a mountain where each day an eagle, was sent to feed on his liver, which would then grow back to be eaten again the next day.
Beautifully executed. Love the eagle and the trees. Always thought it was rather harsh punishment for the trickster's crime, but if you're Zeus, I guess it's fitting. Where's Heracles when you need him? ;) Great job!
