For my latest magic trick, I mispell the word 'setnenecs.'
About this creation
The front, which looks pretty wide to me, but the Chevelle was a huge looking car so I'm fine with it.
It's also worth noting that only a handful of these photos were properly edited, simply because editing them is an...erm... handful.
The back, 50% less paint-o-shopped!
One more art critic sort of view before things get zazzy.
The trunk, large enough for a family of 4.
Doors open, and thanks to the strategic firing of the previous front wing assembler, things are much stronger than on my De Tomaso. You know, the big one. Okay, the big red one. No, the bigger red one. That's still not specific enough!? Oh blast it all!
Everything opens, but don't be fooled by the hood stick, it's just a stand-in.
Nice, shiny engine. And a pathetic attempt at wheel wells! (I have no patience for such things...)
A hood. Not to be confused with THE hood. I'm about as "street" as a sidewalk.
The triumphant interior. Now with an enormous transmission in its midst.
100 metre dash!
And yes, the all too important glovebox. Just ducky.
And now, for something completely random. Views!
This one, to be precise. Look at it, bein' a photo and all that lot.
The whole car is RWD, has full double wishbone independent suspension, steering, caster angle(which I've reduced to make the steering less heavy*), a limited slip dif, 5 spd +N+R transmission, and V8 engine. Hot dawg.
*When I say steering, keep it mind the suspension is completely bottomed-out and as such the car doesn't steer or roll anyway. You have to hold it up first, or purchase harder shocks. I'm willing to do neither. =P
This is just amazing. Pretty much like everything you make! :D I always loved giant muscle cars with big wheels and small trunks, and you nailed the Chevelle! The non-street hood is my favourite piece, because of the bulk in the middle.
Hehe, the hood joke.....always though that "the hood" was a local thing.... Speaking of which, when this hood meets the hood, then the hood folks gonna be all up in the hood, know what I'm sayin'? Eh, I'll stick to proper grammar and say that your creation eloquently sums up the best of LEGO car building, all packaged in a red veneer.....
Fantasticly awesome! The front is perfect love the grill! Fantastic looking engine the trunk is great love the rear taillights . I love how you used the cheese slopes to hide the hinge gap in the body contouring. The interior is also most impressive . Excellent 5/5 x10
Now this is awesome!! Some of your recent models have been a little unfinished. Great, but unfinished, and now I see why! This is huge! A great design as usual and with top notch quality too. The interior and engine bay are probably your best yet. 5 stars.
