"Log 271 - Undead Cargo"
-- The Space Marine Corps received a distress beacon at oh nine hundred hours from a Cargo ship just off the Solar System of Dem-Ar. We immediately sent a rescue team, but they never returned. After three separate attempts of rescuing the survivors, AND our own men, we decided to send in 6 squadrons to handle the situation. Each squad's mission was to find the thread, take it down, and rescue any survivors in the process. The squads were to divide and conquer, overtaking parts of the ship and eventually weeding out whatever was causing the distress, until the thread was no longer there. This was supposed to be a simple mission. --
About this creation
Small storage room, currently being used as a temporary base for the Marines, until they can clear a way to the rally point.
An epic Marine using his Ion Gatling gun to mow down the horde.
Two Infantry soldiers preparing to fight for their lives.
Another Marine, attempting to contact the other squads, but fearing that there may be no other squads left to contact. He has seen a few soldiers within the ranks of the zombie horde, proving that at least one squadron has fallen.
The medic of the squad desperately tries to save this infected crew member, but it is obvious that the young man is turning into an undead ghoul faster than the medic would like. Still, he tries to find a way to stop the infection in the few remaining minutes he has left.
This build is actually TWO builds!!! Betcha didn't see THAT coming!!! I did, but, I mean, I kinda built it, so... Yeah.
My favorite of the two parts.
The zombie horde from the Marines view.
No minifigs! I really like the design for this hallway.
No minifigs here either! Wow!
That opening is supposed to be one of those futuristic retractable doors, by the way.
Quoting Flare .
Eepers jeepers! Nice undead build. My only complaint is that without the minifigures, the scene is quite boring. Perhaps some greebles or detail work would add some extra life to your creations!
Thanks! The build was meant to have a lot of minifigs on it though, so I wasn't worried very much what it would look like without them. My view of the future is a very clean place, without messy greebles and such. I tried to make this look vey nice and tidy, so it would give of more of a "futuristic" feel to it. I'll try to add some greebles ofr you next time I do a space themed build!
