BLACK ADAM - the Original SHAZAM Gone Bad
Black Adam is a character that was created in 1945 by Otto Binder & C. C. Beck. Originally he created as a villain for CAPTAIN MARVEL (and the Marvel Family) but when introduced into the DC COMICS Universe he became a recurring character. He was an ancient Egyptian prince named Teth-Adam that the elder SHAZAM thought was "pure of heart". Unlike CAPTAIN MARVEL who draws his powers from the Graeco-Roman Gods BLACK ADAM draws his from the powers of ancient Egyptian deities. He angered SHAZAM when he killed the pharaoh and took over his throne he was banished to a distant star and took over 5000 years to return! Costume note: he originally didn't wear a cape but in the newer version he does! He became a member of Mr. Mind's MONSTER SOCIETY OF EVIL and the most evilest thing he did was to convert MARY MARVEL (Billy Batson's sister) over to the DARK SIDE! His love was the heroine ISIS! DESIGN NOTES: He was purchased but he had black gloves and a yellow head and a simple black wig, I gave him yellow gloves the correct wig and added a cape to reflect the newer version of BLACK ADAM as well as a dark flesh head to reflect his being EGYPTIAN. I will do his story soon and publish the pictures here!
