On September 10, 2013, the Narrows Regional Park had a small brush fire reported at 1:30pm in the afternoon. The Incident was held to a first alarm response, with Engine 167 manning helispot 167C(C=Charlie). copter 18 was brought in and made quick progress on the fire with only one drop. unfortunately I was only able to capture the helispot due to traffic caused by the lookie loos. once copter 18 had a fresh load, he got over the fire and estimated it as only a 1/2 acre burning down hill in light brush with light to no winds. after his first drop the balance of the assignment was canceled. copter 18 made 1 final drop for a total of 2, along with Brush engine 60002, made quick work on mop up. Engine 60002 also swung by to see the helispot just as Engine 167 was wrapping up operations. The Incident took a little over 30 minutes in total to knock down.
