From the remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds", here is the '67 Mustang fastback named Eleanor. I took my Mustang body and did some minor adjustments to the front and rear end to acquire this look. I may try the original car sometime, the '71 Mustang. Some of my current projects include the '70 Challenger from "Vanishing Point" (yeah, I saw that movie), a new Challenger, the '68 Charger from "Bullitt", and finally a rebuild of one of my oldest creations.
I guess we should have seen this one coming after your did the Bullitt Mustang. Nice job on this one as well. The minor changes you made make all the difference in distinguishing the cars -- the tail, the air scoops, etc. Everything looks great. My only comment would be that the front end near the bottom looks a little blocky, but I don't know whether it would be possible to do any better at this scale. Great MOC!
You're a production dynamo! I'm with Matt about expecting this after Bullitt. The tweaks you made pay off, still a very distinct looking car. That side shot has to be my favorite with the curved slopes. Excellent!
