The General Dynamics F-111 is a low level strike aircraft from the cold war
About this creation
first flying in 1964, The F-111 Was design to Penetrate Soviet Aerospace at Low altitude and Deliver a Nuclear Payload, It Was one of the first aircraft to use a Swing wing, design for good Low Speed handling and low drag at Super sonic speeds

Its entry into Service was delayed by Metal fatigue Found in the wing attach point Which Caused one F-111 to Crash in 1969, the issue caused its Entry into Service to be delayed by 3 years.

The F-111 used Terrain Following radar to Fly at low level at high speeds. the Crew of two sits side by side in an Escape Capsule as opposed to traditional ejector

The F-111 was designed with a small weapons bay capable of carrying a single nuclear bomb, a reconnaissance pallet or extra fuel. the weapons bay also houses the AN/AVQ-26 Pave Tack targeting pod witch retracts inside the weapons bay when not in use

The F-111 Is equiped with eight under wing pylons, 4 on each wing. the two inner pylons on each wing rotate with the wing but the two outer pylons are fixed to the wing. the F-111 can carry a large assortment of bombs and missiles including AIM-9, AIM-7, AGM-69 SRAM Nuclear missles, MK-82, 83 and 84 Bombs aswell as a internally mounted M61 Vulcan Gatling gun

I'm very surprised that this is the only one on the pages. My recommendations are to find a different cockpit. It Bulges out too much. Other that that good job!

great aircraft!, although I would suggest making the wings a little bit thinner they look a little too thick, other than that its a great build!
