About this creation
This is my midi scale super star destroyer, which I made in march(as I have once said I am lazy when it gets to taking pictures. and these pictures aren't the best either). My first version of this model was made out of sets: 8099 midi-scale ISD and 9500 Sith fury-class interceptor. and that model was built in a weekend. The first version I am going to show is the more detailed one, that only uses the originals base. The size of the model is about: 51 studs long, 24 studs wide and 8 studs tall.

closeup of the bridge.

here you can see all 13 thrusters.

side view of the rear:

full engine section:

I do not know what this area is, but here is a picture of it:

here I tried to take a picture of the whole side:

And now for the original version, which is only made out of sets 8099 and 9500. For those of you who are interested I have posted the ldd file and instrutions on how to assemble the model will come later in this post.

here is the whole model:

the "city"

the thrusters:

And now for the assembling part.
I made instructions on how to assemble the plates, because they are just a pain to set up, so I am trying my best to make it as easy as possible.

when following the ldd instructions you should end up with these parts(note that you need 2 minifig hands. colour does not matter):

first of all, set up the hinges so that they look like this:

then take one of the bottom plates and attach it as so:

put on the other bottom plate and align:

set up the hands like so:

put model on the stand(I think it is easier to have the model on the stand, when putting the top plates on):

align top and bottom plates:

press the together at this area, and repeat on the other side:

and now youre done.

that was all for now.

Wow this is brilliant! I love the underside the way you use wedge plates around the engines. The upper structure looks fabulous. Impressive most impressive.

i don't know what those two are talking about below me, but you use some great techniques in here and the amount of detail you fit in this tiny creation is insane! great build.

A bit stubby, but still a good build. Maybe making an extra 15-20 studs. -Brick Boy

Yeah, not bad, but not all that impressive in my opinion. Rather make another dragon or two...
