He couldn’t believe his eyes. There within in his gates where a band of elves. Not just any elves, but Lord Idhrenion whom he had feared dead over a decade ago. He hadn’t had much time to search for them after resigning his post as royal advisor. Something he felt a great amount of guilt about. It seemed to melt away as he greeted his old friend. Upon greeting each member he saw several familiar faces and some new ones. Lady Thenidiel was among them. He invited Idhrenion and Thenidiel to dine with him, as the others settle in. Over dinner they catch up on the last ten years. After dinner Zimmerale begins to show them around Elpis. He is called away by an urgent report and leaves the two in hallway for a moment.
About this creation

^ Lord Idhrenion: It is truly remarkable what he has achieved over the last decade.

Lady Thenidiel: Agreed. I knew he was a remarkable man when we first met.

Idhrenion: I only wish Alassial had lived to see this day. She always had an affection for Zimmerale. I couldn’t imagine how she would have been had she not met him.

Thenidiel: Our self-exile was difficult on us all. We are fortunate to have survived the first few years. From the sound of things hardships are in no short supply in Mythron. I can’t believe the state of things.

Idhrenion: These are troubling times indeed, but in our journey here I saw the hope Zimmerale’s work has sowed. It is a shame he had to resort to working outside Mythrons government to achieve it.

*Zimmerale re-enters the hallway*

^ Zimmerale: My apologies for that. I hope you have enjoyed the tour, I have just one more area to show you tonight. Lady Thenidiel I have assembled those individuals you inquired about over dinner they shall be awaiting you in the dining hall.

Thenidiel: Thank you, I shall take me leave.

*Lady Thenidiel exits*

Zimmerale: The last room is the Marinus Room, our cartography room. I saved this one for last because it also involves a bit of business as well. Please follow me.

^ Zimmerale: Welcome to the Marinus Room, Lord Idhrenion. Here we have worked tiressly to get an accurate representation of our surroundings. That coupled with scouting reports give us an advantage when dealing with those who would cause us harm. This is Count Marinus, an exceptional man rescued months ago after a raid on his village. His town was one of the first refugees we took in here.

Count Marinus: Pleased to meet you Lord Idhrenion.

Idhrenion: Likewise Count Marinus, quite and impressive operation you have here. What is this you are doing?

Marinus: I had better let Zimmerale tell you.

Zimmerale: Ah yes the business I spoke of. Do you recall the elven woman I spoke of during dinner?

Idhrenion: Yes the one that was part of the same caravan as the count here. She was in some unresponsive state babbling.

Zimmerale: Indeed. Turns out she wasn't babbling after all, she kept repeating these two words: Free and Douhlos.

Idhrenion: Slaves? I am afraid I don't understand.

Zimmerale: In the process of mapping the area near this mountain range *Zimmerale points at the unrolled map*, we stumbled upon a pirate encampment. Quite an unusual one for as far as we can tell they are holding several people captive. We can only assume they are selling the individuals. I haven't managed to intercept any other clues, but I have decided I cannot stand for such blatant disregard for personal freedoms. I have a plan and that's why I left this for last.

Idhrenion: Go on.

Zimmerale: I have called upon what few individuals I can trust and formed this plan with the counts help. We shall attack the camp in three groups. Each group shall have a band of sharpshooters to take out the towers. Then simultaneously we shall strike at the main encampment and free the prisoners. I have every confidence in my men's ability, but I know your archers are second to none. There will be no hard feelings if you should choose not to aid us, and you are welcome to stay as long as you like.

Idhrenion: Nonsense, I can't sit idly by while you risk your life and those of your men. You risked your life for me on more than one occasion, I am happy to be of aid to you. I shall tell the archers first thing in the morning. Besides, there may be more of my kind in this terrible place.
