Nephilus I
Deep in the recesses of space, an ancient warship, a feared legend, lies in wait in the boundless darkness. To the regular space traveller, it may appear as a disfigured asteroid; to those who cross its path, it is the nightmare of their nightmares.
About this creation

Side profile. The giant ring is a hyperdrive allowing the ship to teleport to any place in space. The ship also has a probe that allows it to detect its surroundings (like an angler fish).

The other side profile, different from the above as this side is where the main laser cannons and electric projectile cannons are mounted. There's also a laser cannon at the bottom fin.

The back of the ship, with two main engines as well as two stabiliser fins. There's also a shield generator (the dome) to ward off pesky attacks.

Close-up of the front. The two pipes were inspired by pirate ships in general, when they have lots of ropes tied to the mast and such. Like the Flying Dutchman. You could say that this is the Flying Dutchman in space. Hehe.

A side view of the front with the pipes shown clearly.

A close-up of the middle portion, showcasing the cylindrical core engine. It's exposed for better radiation of heat, and since the shield generator protects it, it doesn't really get battered too much.

A close-up of the back, with pretty much the same goodies.

A overall view from the top. It kinda looks like a fish. Or maybe that's just me. I decided to leave out the greebles since I don't have enough pieces, and I think it looks perfectly fine. The top of the ship overhangs the cockpit to provide extra protection, and also gives a sense of mystery to the pilot of the ship. Which I'm not going to show you guys.

That's it guys! I was rather inspired by all the big ships floating on Mocpages, and decided to try my own. I went for the more unconventional ship shape. Admittedly, I don't plan before building; much of the design was made up on the way. Hopefully you like it, and do comment for improvements! :) Thank you!
