About this creation
Excerpt from the journal of Vaun Cornet: “Recently, when I met the spy,” (Ronin build is coming next! Sorry for the delay.)“I was told that I was wanted in the BLACK LOTUS. Naturally, I asked what it was, but he would say nothing except to meet a man in the alleyway in front of the town hall of Worsan. So, Ungoliant and I caught the next reputable boat to Worsan.
When we arrived, I used my bounty to book rooms in a reputable town. No living in some God-forsaken rats nest for me, no thank you. We then walked to the center of the town. Suddenly, a man in a black cape and turban materialized out of the alley in front of me. I jumped. Then I realized that it was the man I was instructed to meet. I uttered my side of the password that the spy had told me: ‘What is beautiful as a rose but deadly as poison?’ The man answered, ‘The BLACK LOTUS.’ He beckoned Ungoliant and I into the alleyway. We shook hands and proceeded down the alley. At a door with blades and a black streak above it, we stopped. The man gave a rapid series of knocks, and the door opened. We entered.
It was dim inside. There was a table under the window with a dinner set for one and a curious book. On a ladder to our left, a grer wearing a half mask stood on a ladder searching among a number of potions. Though he tried to hide it, I sensed that Ungoliant was curious about what was in the bottles. Standing by the window a cloaked and hooded man stared intently out the window. A slim, sinewy orc wearing a black half mask was sitting in an ornate chair. By him, stood a hooded man who looked to be a guard.
The orc beckoned us before him, and inspected us closely. ‘Yes, you will do well,’ he hissed. ‘Pray sit awhile, and we will talk.’ He rose from his chair and glided over to his stool by the table. He commenced to languidly consume his dinner while telling us the recent news. At last he stood up. ‘The reason I have requested you to come here is simple. I want you to join the BLACK LOTUS. I have heard of your accomplishments and am very impressed. You two would make a great members of our,’ he paused, ‘organization.’ ‘What is in it for us?’ I questioned. ‘Several things,’ he stated, ‘wealth, power, and I believe most important to you and maybe to your friend, revenge.’ I pondered for a while. Ungoliant tapped me on the shoulder and nodded. ‘We accept,’ I stated. ‘Perfect!’ he hissed. ‘Bring them the uniforms.’ The other BLACK LOTUS members presented us with two black and red uniforms. ‘Put them on and then sign in that book. We did so. ‘Now that you have signed, I am allowed to tell you my name. I am Kursk. I am the leader of the BLACK LOTUS in this so pleasant city.’ The other members chuckled. ‘Now,’ he continued, ‘Enjoy the city and wait until I send your first assignment from, which will be sent from headquarters.’ With that we left and walked back to our rooms, each of us pondering what the first assignment would be.”

Large view. The orc on the roof is Rukar, and the flying creature is his new companion.

Another large view.

This is the inside of the BLACK LOTUS house. There is a potions shelf, weapon racks, 3 members and the big boss, a table with dinner for one and a book, and a skeleton hanging from the ceiling.

Here is the grer and the potions shelf.

Here is the orc big boss, Kursk.

Here is the alleyway. Note the blades.

Here is a land loving pirate. Note the sword over the door, the soup that he is drinking, and the book and ladder.

Here are Ungoliant (on left) and Vaun Cornet (on right) in their new uniforms.

Here is another view of the whole build. Note the skeleton, evidence of the last fight over docking rights, and the pick-pocket on the far side.

Here is another view of first contact (for you star trek lovers).

Here is a pirate captain. The bounty hunter with the axe is hailing him. HE WANTS MONEY FROM MYTHRON FOR THE CAPTAIN!

Here is the vendor selling a feather to a pirate captain.

Here is the fountain. Rukar built it.

Here is the final view.

4th Wall Commentary:
Wheww! That was a long MOC! It is my biggest MOC yet. I think I was the first to come up with that roof technique, so if you use it please give me credit. Also, if you liked it please rate and comment!
