Caleb's 4x4 Contest - Round 1: Outlaw against Outlaw!
About this creation
My entry for Caleb's 4x4 Contest

For the category I chose: "Showdown"- Build a showdown of any type, whether it be western, futuristic, or knights. As you can see mine is western :-)

When I first entered this contest I was really excited until the reality of how small a 4x4 is made it into my mind...And I probably wouldn't have entered a build had Caleb not extended the deadline! So I pushed around a few ideas going from category to another and finally decided to go this idea - which was edited some by David's brotherly love so that I wouldn't get disqualified for to much overhang. Thanks David!

Now onto the pictures!!

The whole build next to 32 stacked bricks - at a weird angle because it was night...

It comes apart!! Not on purpose of course but at least that way it won't topple! ;-)

First up Outlaw Bill! He stole the loot and doesn't want to give it back - so he pushes a rock off the ledge!

The rock falls down and hits the the angled ledge just right...

So that it hits poor ol' Outlaw Jim - all he wanted was his fair share of the loot!

The build fig-less

The build without the rock and figs - This was my first attempt ever to do rocks and I was really pleased with the way it came out :D

Outlaw Bill (Left) and Outlaw Jim (Right)

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for looking!

Quoting Ian ..... Great entry! I think if it hits that ledge in the right way it will miss, otherwise that would hurt a lot! Great rockwork!
Thanks Ian! The point was that he gets crushed....and he was originally supposed to be under a ledge. You have to use some imagination when using a 4x4 :D
